Diorama & Pumpkin Fun

Cleo and Roger made a panda diorama for Cleo's science project.  They handed it in on Oct. 4.

Cleo got quite adept at using the glue gun.

A week or so ago, we decorated the kids' pumpkins.

Sidney's witch pumpkin's face started to crack and the mouth sort of came off so Roger helped him make a mummy vampire witch pumpkin.

Last weekend Sidney and I made a crocodile diorama.  We will finish it tomorrow.  He's going to bring it in to school and do a little show and tell for his class.

Crocodiles eat turtles, fish and crabs (among other things) so that's what we put in the diorama.

I am not sure what we are up to tomorrow. I need to get white face makeup for Cleo's Hello Kitty costume on Thursday. I need more green face makeup since I am putting on green make up too for my Potion Witch costume on Thursday.  After breakfast, we will go to the new Walmart that opened up near Kids R Kids, Sidney's daycare.

I am taking Friday, November 1 off from work. I am going to Intimacy Bra Shop at Phipps Plaza mall. I am getting a bra fitting. I am also going to get a nice bra. I got a gift card to the store for my birthday.  I am very excited. Then I might see Gravity, the new Sandra Bullock movie.  I will invite Roger to come with me.

Sidney is incredibly excited about Halloween. He's much more excited about Halloween than either Cleo or Sidney gets about Christmas.  He is obsessed.

Kids R Kids Fall Festival 2013

Roger went to D.C. this morning to visit his friend Jimmie.  Jimmie was Roger's roommate in college.  Roger returns on Monday.

After breakfast, we played in the frost and the kids made frost angels.

Then we went inside and got ready and went to art class.  Sidney wanted to show his teacher his costume so he dressed up in his Wicked Wizard of the West costume. :-)

Cleo made a haunted house and the red construction paper is blood.

Then we went to the Kids R Kids Fall Festival.  Cleo volunteered to be a magician's assistant.

She got to keep the grape Tootsie Pop under the handkerchief.

Cleo and her pal MiAngel. MiAngel went to Kids R Kids and also attends Cleo's elementary school. They're in different first grade classes.

We left the festival at 4pm and I gave the kids baths. They're now watching Flushed Away for movie night.
