In late August when Hurricane Irene was heading to and hammering NYC, Cleo's class was studying New York. Cleo drew this drawing on August 29. I think it's awesome and I hope you do too.

Cleo was very excited to go to NYC and was sorely disappointed when she, Sidney and I were unable to go.

Sidney is doing fine. He has had 2 good days. He has not thrown up since we started him on the Zofran. As per doctor's office orders, he is not taking it the rest of the day to see how he does. Yesterday when Cleo and I got home, he was extremely chatty. He narrated the goings-on in the house and continued to do it this morning. He asked whether he was going to school and I told him that he was staying home with Daddy and that Cleo was going to school and I was going to work. A few times this morning he would point to me and inform me that I was going to work and told Cleo she was going to school. It's like the surgery and recovery have aged him. He is even more observant and involved in everything that goes on at home. He was playful and cheerful yesterday and this morning. Let's hope it continues!

Have a good day!
