We had a wonderful time in Hilton Head, SC. We drove down Tuesday after work/school and arrived around 10pm.

Wednesday: Roger and I took Cleo and Sidney to the beach. We made sand castles, played in the water and had a lot of fun. There were little fish swimming close to the shore. Cleo and Sidney used their buckets to try to catch the fish. Cleo tried to catch some birds too. She ran after one yelling, "come here bird!" Sidney would yell after her "go, Cleo!" Cleo and Sidney love the water; Sidney cried when we had to leave.

Thursday: Roger golfed with his Aunt Connye. I took Cleo and Sidney to the beach. I taught Cleo how to make little drizzled sand castles. She is now a pro. Sidney kept wanting to go into the water to fill our buckets with sea water, "come on Mommy, more water." We had a lot of fun. Later, Sidney, Cleo, Linda, Roger, Connye and I got gelato at Pino Gelateria. There's one on Marietta Square in GA but the one in Hilton Head has a wider variety. I got a scoop of hazelnut and a scoop of Nutella. The. Best. Flavors. Ever. Sidney tried to ditch his scoop of chocolate and eat my flavors. I was nice and shared. Cleo really only uses ice cream as a vehicle for sprinkles. She LOVES sprinkles. She never finishes her ice cream.

Friday: Roger golfed with Connye. He got a birdie; yay Roger. I took Cleo and Sidney to see the horses and to the petting zoo. Cleo petted a deer named Callie. Sidney petted the deer and the other animals. Cleo claimed she wanted to go for a pony ride but later changed her mind. Sidney helped me feed the sheep and goats. I also fed a mule or donkey. Cleo was having none of that. Sidney laughed when the animals ate the food off of his hands because their lips tickled his palm. After the petting zoo, we swung by the house and picked up Linda (Roger's mom). We then went to a nearby playground. That was fun. There were slides and swings. Robin and Kaelin arrived that evening and the kids played together.

Saturday: Roger, Linda and I took the 3 kids to the playground. They loved it. We got cookies and pastries at a bakery that I had wanted to try out. We strolled around a little and looked at the yachts and boats docked at the harbor.

Sunday: We packed up and left the condo. We had breakfast at the Original Pancake House. There is one in Atlanta too but we have not been there in ages. Cleo and Sidney ate all of their silver dollar pancakes and bacon. I had strawberry waffles and homefries. Delish. We got home around 3:30pm. We unpacked and relaxed.
