First (and Best) Sleepover Ever!

Saturday, Oct. 6, I took the kids to their art and acting class.  Sidney was a good boy and was very focused during class.

Also on Saturday, Oct. 6, after not taking a nap because she was so excited, Cleo attended her first ever sleepover. She slept over at her pal Alexandria's house.  Alexandria's twin brother Quintin was there too. I dropped Cleo and Sidney off at 3:40pm.  Roger and I picked Sidney up at 9pm - he did not protest leaving, which was a relief.  Sidney was never supposed to sleep over.

During the playdate part of the day, Leslie, Quintin and the 4 kids went to the park, played, had dinner and watched a movie.  When I dropped Sidney and Cleo off, Alexandria's mom, Leslie, asked the 4 kids if they wanted to go to the park and Sidney asked if they could play duck duck goose, one of his favorite weekend games.  Leslie told me that they played duck duck goose while the movie was on.  Sidney and Cleo ate all of their dinner - Leslie sent us pictorial proof.  I need to figure out how to rotate pictures taken on an iPad. When they're sent to me, they are sent sideways.

Sunday, Oct. 7, Cleo had breakfast with her pals and their family at IHOP.

Then, they went home for naps at Alexandria's house. At 2:30pm, they went to a pre-season Hawks. v. Miami Heat basketball game.  Alexandria's mom Leslie lived in Miami for a while and she is a big Heat fan.  The tickets that Leslie got are special executive tickets so they sat in a special room and had all sorts of nice snacks, e.g., pizza, fries, soda - typical stadium fare.

This Saturday, Oct. 13, Cleo went to see Disney on Ice with Alexandria, Quintin and Leslie.  Leslie had four tickets and Quintin, Alexandria's dad was going to go but Alexandria asked if Cleo could attend so Quintin let Cleo have his ticket.  This picture was taken in front of Alexandria's house.

Cleo had a great time.
