One year, we enrolled Sidney in the art class at the Arts Center. Sidney did not enjoy it. He was around 18 months-old. On Saturday, Sept. 22, when we pulled into the parking lot, Sidney asked, "are we going to music class?" We reassured him that he was going to art class, not music class. I cannot believe he remembered the music class.
Prior to kids' naps, Roger spent some time explaining to Sidney that Roger's favorite college football are the Florida Gators.
After the kids' naps, we attended a party at Monkey Joe's in Morrow, GA. It was around a 30 minute drive south from our house. Cleo's friend Angelina from daycare turned 6.
Sidney played air hockey with a boy a little older than him.
Cleo and Sidney at the party table.
Angelina in the birthday girl chair. Angelina and her family also attend the same church we go to so the kids see her there on Sundays.
I love Sidney's posture there like he's a serious basketball player.
Sidney escaping the very mild Batman ride.
My showing Sidney that the ride is not scary.
Me and Sidney enjoying the ride together. The space was quite tiny.
Sidney climbing up the blocks to get to the slide. I was so impressed with his Navy Seal-esque climbing skills.
Cleo at the bottom of a slide. She's overcome her fear of the bigger slides.
Sunday, Sept. 23, we attended Tyson's 4th birthday. Tyson is my friend Lillian and Guillermo's son. I went to law school with Guillermo. The party was at the Center for Puppetry Arts which is in midtown. We had never been there before. In the hour long puppet show, there were three stories told: the Princess & The Frog Prince, The Three Little Pigs, and the Three Billy Goats Gruff. Cleo remembered precise dialogue from the stories. I was saying something from the princess story and she corrected me with the right dialogue. Her memory is amazing.

Then home for baths, movie night, dinner and bed.
