Deerwood Park and Shortlived Bubbles

After the kids and Roger came home from Church, we took the kids to the park.  Thanks to my former next door neighbor, we learned about a cute park super close to our house. It's Deerwood Park and it's very close to Cleo's school.  Here is Sidney blowing bubbles.

We shared our bubbles with Dan, a little 6 year-old boy totally unsupervised by his two older brothers playing basketball with some other older boys.  You can see his brothers behind Cleo in the above picture.

After the park, we went home for lunch and Sidney took a nap. I took Cleo food shopping at Publix. Then, Sidney woke up around 2pm on his own. I took them out to the deck to blow bubbles but a big wasp chased us to the front of the house.  When we were in the front, a big wasp and a few carpenter bumble bees chased us into the house. Cleo was very disappointed because she had her heart set on blowing some bubbles.  We drew some pictures inside instead and Sidney played with his trains.

What, red sequined maryjane's with a rhinestone on the front aren't appropriate bubble blowing shoes?
