On our last day in NYC, we met my mom at the Brooklyn Transit Museum. It was great. The kids had a great time.
Here is Cleo pushing down a dynamite exploder handle.
Sidney hanging on to a wheelbarrow.
Sidney taking a short break from walking.
There were sections of buses too.
Me and Roger catching some ZZZZs while the kids ran around unsupervised. ;-)
My dad told us that when he was a kid the subways used to have seats like the ones featured in the below picture.
Cleo learning about trains from a volunteer tour guide.
All aboard!
Can we help you?
We are experts on trains. Where do yo want to go?
Oh! Windsor Terrace to the Upper West Side!
You take the F train to the A train to the local IRT. That's how you get to my grandma's house!
Have a nice subway trip!
After the museum, we had a nice lunch at a nearby diner. Our flight was at 9pm so we had a full day.
We were able to say good-bye to Cybele, Christian and my dad.
